My best friend turned 40 at the end of March. We threw a little dinner party before we went out for a night of Improv comedy. This wasn’t a crazy over the top party, but I did think it would be fun to make some fun gag gift pill bottles. They were a great party favor and a fun way to say, thank you for coming. I’ll admit it, I also wanted the chance to give her a little ribbing for being “Over the Hill.”
These were such a quick and fun project to put together. I lucked out and found some pill bottles at Goodwill about a year ago. I have been saving them all this time, waiting for the perfect occasion.
You can buy your own pill bottles on Amazon or ask your local pharmacy if you can purchase some.
Here is what the labels say:
Thanks for celebrating with us!
Directions:
Take a handful every time you feel tired,
droopy, forgetful, grouchy, or just plain old!
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF YOUNG WHIPPERSNAPPERS
Around the side of the bottle, there were some drug warnings too.
The warnings say:
SIDE EFFECTS: May experience loss of: sleep, vitality, and memory. Don’t worry, this is common at your age!
WARNING: Do not engage in extreme physical activities like getting up from the couch, walking, or climbing stairs. You might break a hip.
My labels had the birthday girl’s name on them, but I decided to share a more generic version so anyone can just print these on sticker paper and make their own. I was able to get 6 labels on each sticker sheet.
Do not redistribute the label without prior written consent. Copyright 2013, CuteAsAFox.com
I filled the bottles with jelly beans, but M&Ms or Skittles would be a great choice too.
I hope you enjoy this fun party favor. Please pin and share with your friends, if you liked it.

Hi Luiza,
I actually found mine at a thrift store. You could try calling around to different local pharmacies and see if anyone would sell you some bottles. I have heard of others doing that in the past.
Good luck!

You can just save the image by right clicking on it, and selecting “save image as.” Then you can go from there to print it up on sticker paper or however you want.
