Make sure you make it to the bottom of the post, I’m giving away a Silhouette Portrait!
I am so excited about today’s posts for lots of reasons. The first is that I get to show you some of the fun things I have been up to with my Silhouette Cameo. Did you know you could make your own nail decals? Well you can! I used vinyl to cut some tiny shapes and applied them to my toe nails.
I did the chevron star for my sister’s July 4th wedding. I felt so fun and patriotic. I just put the hibiscus on my toes today.
It was a very straight forward project.
- Find a design that will scale down well (Measure your toes, so you know what size to cut)
- Cut out of vinyl
- Use transfer tape to apply to your nails
- Finished it off with a clear top coat
The stars lasted over two weeks. The nail polish was starting to chip so I finally decided to take them off. This is a great project for any vinyl scraps you have laying around. I think that next time I want to try out a monogram.
On to the next big thing. As a Silhouette affiliate I get to bring you another awesome sale. From now until July 30, you can get 40% off all the consumables in the Silhouette store. All you need to do is go to the Silhouette website and shop away. Enter code: CUTEFOX when you check out and you will get 40% off your order. Now is the perfect time to stock up on blades, cutting mats, or anything else you have been wanting to try out. I think the glass etching starter kit looks pretty cool. I would also love the clear printable sticker paper. So many possibilities!
Over on the Silhouette blog, they are previewing brand new products that will be offered by Silhouette. I can’t wait to see what new products are coming! Make sure you check the blog out each day to see all the new products.
Finally, I have some super exciting news! I am giving away a Silhouette Portrait to one lucky reader! Woohoo!
Here is some more info about the Portrait direct from the Silhouette website.
The Silhouette Portrait® is an electronic cutting tool for personal use. Like a home printer, it plugs into your PC or Mac® with a simple USB cable. However, instead of printing it uses a small blade to cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric and more up to 8″ wide and 10 feet long. The machine also has the ability to register and cut printed materials.
I love my Silhouette machine. It is probably the best crafting purchase I have ever made. I use it almost daily. I am so excited that I get to give one away to one of my awesome readers.
You can enter the giveaway in the Rafflecopter form below.
Disclaimer: I am a part of the Silhouette Blogger Affiliate program. All projects and opinions are my own.
