Teacher appreciation week is just about a month away! This year it falls between May 4-8, 2015. I really can’t believe the school year is already winding down. It has just flown by. I’m so excited to be teaming up with some other awesome bloggers to bring you quick, fun, and cute ideas to show your teachers how much you appreciate them. Each of the projects should be done in about 15 minutes, not including any drying time if necessary. You should be able to get lots of great ideas.
For my project, I put together this cute ice cream bucket filled with everything you need to have an ice cream night. Just add the ice cream. The printable says, “Here’s the scoop… You are the sweetest teacher ever!” My favorite part of this project is how easy it is to tailor to your needs.
I filled a metal bucket with an ice cream scoop, ice cream cups, sprinkles, and some pretty coordinating napkins. You could add chocolate and caramel syrup, chopped nuts, or some maraschino cherries. My favorite ice cream scoop is actually more like a paddle. They are so easy to use. I added some Amazon affiliate links above so you can see some of my favorite products.
The only thing I would recommend that you keep for sure is the scoop. After all, it does say, “Here’s the scoop.” If you don’t want to do a full ice cream bucket, you could do just the ice cream scoop and then tape a gift card to an ice cream or frozen yogurt shop. That way your favorite teacher can go and treat themselves to some ice cream.
So really, you can get as fancy or as simple as you want. No matter which way you go, the teachers in your life will definitely feel appreciated!
