Today I’m bringing back one of my favorite projects. A reader emailed and asked for an updated version of the Mario Father’s Day card. I am happy to oblige. Any gamer dad or fan of classic Mario and Super Mario Brothers would love this card for Father’s Day!

I like to keep it very simple. You can either, print the general card or if you have the ability to edit Photoshop files(PSD) you can customize your own card.

Option 1: Print this image and you are good to go.

 

 

Option 2: If you would like to customize your Mario Father’s Day card, you can download the PSD file and customize the following:

• Dad’s Name
• Dad’s Birthday (Currently the date of Father’s Day in there)
• Number of Kids (Coins)
• The year(In case you use this next year or beyond!)

Here is what you need to do to customize your own:

1. Download the font “Press Start” and install it.
2. Download theMario Father’s Day Card PSD file.
3. Open in Photoshop(or GIMP)
4. Select the text layer you want to change
5.  Using your Text Tool change the text to your desired text
6.  Print!

It’s pretty fun that you can make it custom to the Dad in your life. I know that my husband really loved his card, the first I made this.
