In my recent journey to regain my health, I am discovering all these muscles that I never knew I had. When I use them, they are making themselves known in a big way. It’s been great to go from being in constant pain because of all the extra weight I was carrying around, to occasional aches and pains from pushing my body harder than it’s been pushed in a long time. In Arizona, it’s quite hot in spring and summer so we get up early to if are going to be active. The early bird gets the worm and avoids heat stroke in these parts. I can’t go on a hike and then sit around nursing my aching muscles the rest of the day. I have to rely on some weekend warrior remedies to help me out.
Case in point, we decided to go on a family hike a few weeks back. We are not experienced hikers at all. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but something I really wanted to tackle. Our hike was going along just great until we lost sight of the trail markers for the trail we were on. We weren’t in danger of being lost, we just didn’t know where our trail was supposed to end or where we were meant to get to. My husband saw a peak off in the distance and said with confidence, “I’m sure we’re supposed to end up at the top, so let’s just go for it.”
Go for it, we did! My activity tracker said I went the equivalent of 50 flights of stairs on that hike. Thankfully, we all made it to the top! We even made it all the way back to the car, which might have been the bigger accomplishment.
When we got home, I was really feeling it, especially in my leg muscles. Thankfully, I was able to go to my medicine cabinet and pull out my TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain. I really like that it lasts eight hours and helps me get on with the rest of my day.
TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain is also great for back pain, headaches, toothaches, PMS, minor arthritis pain, the common cold, and it’s also a temporary fever reducer. As with any medicine, make sure you read the label and only take as directed. TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain is for adults and children 12 years and older.
You can find TYLENOL® products at Target, near the pharmacy in the Healthcare section of the store. TYLENOL® is right there in the General Pain Relief section.
Once I got my aches and pains under control, I was able to move on to my other favorite recovery tool. A delicious tropical smoothie! This smoothie has pineapple, mango, coconut milk, and greek yogurt. It will cool you off, and give you a nice big boost of Vitamin C and protein from the greek yogurt. Let’s not forget that it’s delicious too! The recipe also calls for using frozen fruit, so you can come right in the door and start throwing ingredients in the blender. No prep necessary!
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- ½ cup vanilla honey greek yogurt
- ½ - 1 cup lite coconut milk
- Add the pineapple, mango, and greek yogurt to the blender.
- Add ½ cup coconut milk to start.
- Pulse the blender a few times to get started and then blend on high until smooth.
- Add up to an additional ½ cup coconut milk to reach your desired consistency. Personally, I love a thick smoothie, so I keep to ½ cup total.
My kids just finished school for the year and we have lots of fun summertime adventures planned. Before you head out for your family fun, stop by Target and pick up some TYLENOL® to keep yourself prepared to play and work hard this spring and summer.

Tylenol is a must-have for us. My hubby has a bad knee and since we hike a lot, his knee pays the price.
