We have officially survived one whole week of being back to school. It’s funny, I really thought that I would have so much more free time with both of my littles in school all day. So far it just hasn’t felt that way.
I know that we start back earlier than a lot of the country. I don’t know the official reason, but I think it’s because August in Arizona is so miserable, you may as well be indoors learning at school.

You may remember that I shared some back to school shopping tips a few weeks back. I also told you that we were planning to do our back to school shopping at Kohl’s. Kohl’s really delivered for us! A perk of being a Kohl’s Ambassador with Mom Central, is that I received a gift card to facilitate my post. With that gift card, we bought a few outfits for both kids plus we found the PERFECT backpack for my son. I even had some Kohl’s cash that had gotten lost in my wallet and Kohl’s accepted it even though it was past the expiration date. Super double bonus!

Here’s what the kids looked like on the first day of school.

My son is not a big fan of shopping to say the least, but he LOVED that Kohl’s had a large selection of Minecraft apparel. He would have bought one of every design if I let him. My daughter loves clothes, so of course she had a wonderful time at Kohl’s. I really love the kitty shirt she got in the collage below. It’s so cute!

I love shopping at Kohl’s anytime of year. I did especially enjoy being able to go to one store and buy it all for back to school. It sure beats dragging the kids around the mall. I know my kids would agree too!
