Recently I had the opportunity to review a Danze faucet. The only faucets I have had experience with are the standard builder faucets. I was in heaven getting to pick out a beautiful faucet. I was really surprised at how just the faucet can change the look of your bathroom. I picked out the Parma faucet in brushed Nickel.
It just makes me smile. It is so unique and I have never seen another faucet like it. I love that is came in brushed Nickel or Chrome. I love the look of brushed metals but if you were just replacing a faucet, you could go with Chrome and it would still match your tub or other fixtures. At about the same time I was choosing my faucet, my sister let me know that they were planning to redo one of their bathrooms. I decided to be a nice sister and let her install the faucet at her house. Don’t worry, I plan to make frequent trips to visit it. 🙂
Here was the faucet before. It was nothing terrible, but not too special either.
I am not a plumber by any stretch of the imagination, so I turned installation over to my sister’s boyfriend. He has never done anything like this either, but with the clear instructions that came with the faucet, he felt confident he could accomplish the task. The previous homeowners had even done some jury-rigging to the old faucet, and he dealt with it no problem.
Here’s what the faucet looked like when we opened the box. Well I did remove the bubble wrap first, so you could actually see a little something.
All the parts were there and bagged in groupings that made sense. When it came to actually following the instructions, everything was nice and clear with diagrams. My sister’s boyfriend gave the only process a big thumbs up.
Okay, here are the after shots. This one has the faucet straight forward like your standard faucet would be.
In this shot, I turned the faucet over to the side. I love that it swivels.
If you take into account the great designs available from Danze, the clear and accurate instructions, and the ease of installation, I would 100% choose a Danze fixture again. Everyone that has seen the faucet loves it too.
Danze has also included a special opportunity for me to give one lucky reader a high efficiency shower head. The winner will get to pick one of these shower heads (Brushed Nickel or Chrome)
- Features Pressure Manifold™ Technology.
- Brass ball joint with polymer shell.
- Optimizes water intensity even at low pressure.

I agree with Sharon in Appleton, this Danze faucet looks classy and well made! I’m not really into faucets and have very minimal knowledge about it, but your post helped me find my soon-to-be faucet. I’m renovating my bathroom and I’m searching for a new faucet, this will work well on my new sink! How much does it cost anyway?
