On Monday I noticed that my little boy had a loose tooth. Ahh! Someone slow down the ride, he is growing up too fast!
I knew I had to get making a tooth fairy pillow for him right away. I remembered seeing a cute Monster pillow somewhere so I searched my google reader and just what I was looking for over at The Long Thread. She has a great tutorial with templates for the teeth. The only change I made was using big buttons for the eyes instead of felt.
He can leave his tooth in his pillow and in the morning he will find some money from the tooth fairy!
I think once he hears about the money part of this loosing teeth deal, he will probably start to wiggle that thing as much as he can! I do have a question for those seasoned Mom’s out there. How much does the tooth fairy bring your kids? What’s the going rate these days? Thanks in advance for your input!

Thats too cute! I’ll have to remember that for when my little monster starts loosing teeth. My little cousin’s get $1 per tooth, but we’re cheap lol!
