Super Bowl XLIX is less than a week away! Today I’m sharing a a great party recipe that’s perfect for the Big Game or really any party. It’s actually a skinny version of the bean dip recipe I posted a few years ago. It’s really versatile because you can use change up which ingredients you want low-fat versus full fat depending on your preference. I’ve made it in a bunch of different variations and they have all been delicious!
Skinny Bean Dip
Prep: 5 minutes Cook: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 – 16 ounce cans fat free refried beans, or traditional
- 2 cups Greek Yogurt, or low fat sour cream
- 8 ounce softened low fat, non fat, or greek yogurt cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp of Taco seasoning (1/2 packet)
- Low fat shredded cheese to sprinkle on top
Instructions:
- Mix the beans, greek yogurt, cream cheese, and taco seasoning together in a casserole dish. Use a hand mixer for the smoothest dip.
- Sprinkle the top of the dip with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
Tortilla chips are my favorite way to eat this bean dip but if you are trying to keep it light, you could try pairing carrots, celery, or cucumber slices with this delicious dip.
My favorite part of this dip is how quick and easy it is to make. Just a little bit of mixing and into the oven it goes. My other favorite part is how good it tastes! Everytime I make it, someone asks for the recipe. It’s that tasty!
What’s your go-to dip when you are serving a crowd? Let me know in the comments!
