I can’t believe it but we will back to school in just over 3 weeks! I am already getting prepped for the inevitable back to school, teacher wish list. Kids are pretty much a germ factory, so hand sanitizer is always high on the list. I thought it would be fun to come up with some Germ Juice labels. They are quick and easy to put together. They would make a great little back to school gift for teacher. I think the best gifts are useful too! I’ve created 4 different labels, so you can have your choice or give different teachers different “germs.”
Today’s post is part of Craft Lightning, Back to School edition. Head over to the hostesses blogs and find all kinds of quick back to school projects from all over the web.
Okay, let’s jump right in and get going with our project!

Instructions:
- Remove the label from the front of the sanitizer bottle. Most labels will leave some kind of sticky residue. Goo Gone is awesome and getting off label adhesive. I rubbed it on with a paper towel and the goo was gone in about a minute with minimal elbow grease. Here’s a before and after with the Goo Gone.
- Download and print your Germ Juice label of choice on the clear sticker paper. I used Silhouette brand because I had it on hand. I did a quick price comparison and Silhouette brand is a good deal too. You get 8 sheets per package compared to 3 sheets at a similar price. I printed it high quality and set the paper to glossy photo paper. I thought they came out great! Make sure you print on the glossy side of the paper!
- Cut the label out to 2×3″, peel the paper backing and adhere to the hand sanitizer. So easy and simple. If you’re worried about it lasting, you could cover the sticker with a layer of clear contact paper. Alternately, if you didn’t want to use sticker paper, you could print on cardstock, glue to the bottle, and then cover with clear contact paper. I like to leave the back label on because it has all of the ingredients and pertinent info, but you could remove for a completely clean bottle.
Well it’s time for you to get your germ labels now. Head over to page 2 and download your favorites!
