I don’t spend a whole lot of time talking about myself on this blog, mostly because I feel like you came here for the projects! My one year anniversary seemed like a good time to share some info about me.
Why did I start blogging?
Like a lot of people I had a dream of creating a handmade business on Etsy. Like a lot of people, I failed miserably at it. I wanted to have a blog in conjunction with my Etsy store and when that didn’t turn out, I decided to start making and sharing tutorials of my projects.
Why Cute as a Fox Creations?
My little girl’s middle name is Fox(so is mine) and like most proud Mommies, I think she is the cutest thing around. I also wanted something unique and I thought people would be able to remember.
A little more about me.
I am a stay at home mom to two great kids, a five year old boy, and a three year old girl. I go back and forth on privacy concerns so sometimes I use their names and sometimes, not so much. I have been married for almost 7 years to my perfect match. We met in the last semester of college, we were both majoring in Computer Information Systems. Major nerd alert! We are geeks of the highest order around here and I love it.
I am the youngest of two girls. My Mother and sister are both very creative too. We each have our own strengths and aesthetic. Between the three of us, I’m not sure there isn’t much we couldn’t tackle. My Father is very artistic as well and is great with his hands. He’s my go to builder.
Bloggers I’d most like to meet:
Right now it is hands down, Shelley from House of Smiths and Allison from House of Hepworths. I love their style and most importantly their sense of humor. I love being able to read a craft blog and get a good chuckle too! I also love it when bloggers seem like real people. I can imagine having a blast hanging out with them.
