Last Friday night I went to an all night craft event called Crafting Arizona. It went from 8pm-8am! Jax and I went together and we only made it until about 4:45am or so. I met up with Vanessa from The Sewer, The Caker, The Copy-Cat maker and two of her friends. They were still there when we left, but they were looking pretty beat. I don’t think they made it until 8 either. It was pretty strange that it was already getting light outside on the drive home. Normally I am NOT a night owl. We had a lot of fun together, and I can’t wait to show you what I got done.
Here are some pictures I took from the night.
Lots of cute decor.
Handmade pretzel’s were yummy! They also had the most gigantic marshmallows I had ever seen dipped in chocolate and drizzled with peanut butter. So good! They made root beer floats for everyone too.
This picture does not accurately show how large the marshmallows are. Although since it is sitting on my mat, you can see it fills a 2×2″ square. Gigantic!
Pinwheels and hounds-tooth galore.
This is what you saw when you came in. The event was held at a collaborative workspace. Essentially people rent out desk space and occasionally come together to work on projects together. We were working over on the right at tables set up.
I really liked the hanging lanterns.
They also had a photo booth set-up but I don’t think that anyone used it. Sad. I didn’t get a picture of it, but it was a very cute background.
Check out this adorable crocheted Yoda. Vanessa’s friend, Mary(I think), crocheted this over the course of the night. ADORABLE! She made the pattern herself too. My favorite part was watching her pick out some of the stuffing to make Yoda’s hair.
I got a lot accomplished that night which I will show you in the next post. We are headed towards picture overload with this one!

Hey how is your romper turning out? I really did the slit only three inches and than did the waistband a little high so my neices that grow so fast could go with the romper! If you have any questions e-mail me at donswife{@}gmail.com!! I would love to see how yours turns out too! 🙂
