I originally posted this project two years ago when my blog was just brand new. I probably had about 5 readers at the time, so I thought this would be worth revisiting.
Valentine’s Candy Sundaes
Supplies:
- Sundae Glasses – check the Dollar Store or Goodwill
- Valentine M&M’s
- Styrofoam Ball – Dollar Tree
- Popped Popcorn
- Almond Bark
- Pixie Sticks or the cute striped paper straws
- Chocolate Heart (Optional)
This is pretty easy to assemble, but I will break it down step by step for you.
- Fill the sundae dish with M&Ms
- Wrap the Styrofoam ball in plastic wrap to keep everything nice and food safe
- Melt the almond bark and use it to glue the popcorn on top of the dish and styrofoam ball.
- Insert the pixie sticks for the straws
- You can add a chocolate heart with the almond bark if you want. I thought it looked a little like a cherry on top.
You are all done! I gave these to my sons preschool teachers and they were a big hit. These would be a fun treat for your kids too.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
