I love that Leapfrog has so many age appropriate toys that are educational. I had never thought of Aging Down a character to keep a younger child’s interest. I have a soon to be 3 yr. old great grand-daughter who would greatly benefit from this giveaway. It would make a fantastic Christmas and Birthday gift as she will be 3 on Dec. 28th. Having 2 kids of my own it is very important to get “age appropriate” toys and you would think it is something people would get, but they don’t we constantly have to explain to grandparents that they need to watch out for the age group of the toy before they get it. I found it interesting that she is encouraging you to buy age-appropriate toys for the child. This is very important to me & some people have a hard time not going by age. For example my 3 year old got stuff designed for a 6 year old last year & the year before, 2 at the time, she got things for a 9 month old! I also like the idea of setting a timer then sending them outside to play when the timer goes off!

Great tip to get age appropriate toys. Sounds simple, but my husband thinks that by getting something for an older child that it is challenging our son. Frustration plays a big role here. Thank goodness this hasn’t been an issue really. My son catches on quite fast. I’m waiting for the day, though, when he gets really upset because he can’t do it. Hopefully that doesn’t happen…..
