I planned to start this post by talking about how dishes are not my favorite chore, but then I remembered that I dislike all chores. Ha, ha, ha. Sad, but oh so true. I do have some good news though for others that don’t like to do the dishes. Cascade Platinum Pacs have totally changed the way I do my dishes.

Growing up, my Mom taught me that you had to pre-wash the dishes. Our dishwasher wasn’t very good and if you didn’t pre-wash, you would end up with stuck on food. Yuck! My whole adult life I have continued to pre-wash my dishes. It seems a little silly, essentially the dishwasher was just sanitizing them, because I had already scrubbed them clean with hot water and dish soap. Well no more pre-washing for me!

 I can tell you that my dishes are now sparkling clean and food photography ready. When I make recipes for the blog, the staging and props I use are almost as important as the food. Clean sparkling dishes are a must.
