I have to tell you about how last week I was summoned for Jury Duty and it ended up being the best thing that happened all week. Crazy, right? On my way down to the court house, I discovered that I was only about two blocks away from the store Charming Charlie. I have never been before, but I heard it was a great store.
I lucked out and all the jurors got excused around 11am, so I walked over to Charming Charlie to check it out. Wow, what a store. I would describe it as an upscale Claire’s but I’m not even sure that is accurate. Lots of pretty on-trend jewelry for very reasonable prices. My luck continued because I got there on the first day of the take 50% off the clearance price sale. Wahoo! I laid out all the jewelry I bought and the prices. I was so stoked!
My favorite is that chunky black, gray, and gold bracelet. At $4 it was the most expensive item I bought on clearance. I will note that I bought other things not on clearance, but they aren’t pictured. I spent about $25 for all the sale jewelry.
The only problem I have now is that I have zero jewelry organization. I have a little jewelry box, but it just isn’t going to cut it for those awesome long necklaces. It’s definitely time to DIY some jewelry organization. I thought I would do a round-up of some of my favorite ideas. There are some really clever ideas out there.

These DIY organizing ideas are awesome!! For my jewelry I cut strips of cork board I got from target and decorated it with scrapbook paper. I got some pretty pushpins and stuck them in. I used it to hang all my necklaces. For my other jewelry I got 2×2 wood pieces from lowes, drilled a hole in the middle and stuck a wooden stick thing (also from lowes)in the middle. I use one for bracelets and one for rings. Once you spraypaint them and add jewelry the look really pretty!

Some cute ideas! I actually don’t organize my jewelry, and am looking for suggestions. I’ve seen a cute fabric covered corkboard ideas on pinterest but have never gotten around to making one. I do love the embroidery hoops, and maybe that cuteness is the motivation I need to finally organize my jewelry collection!
