I’ve mentioned this before, but both of my kids have birthdays very close to Christmas. One is two weeks before, and the other is weeks after Christmas. It can be really hard coming up with so many gift ideas all at one time. I like to get an early start on my shopping. I was more than happy to oblige when Target asked me to check out the kids catalog and post some of my favorite toys.
My daughter’s birthday is coming up first, so let’s start with girls.
Girls:
My daughter loves all animals. I think she would really love one of these FurRealFriends. I especially love how interactive they are.
These Inkoos Switheroos look super cute. You can draw on them with washable markers, wash them clean, and start all over again.
My daughter also loves crafting and making jewelry. I think she would love this Pretty Pink Dress jewelry designer. It doesn’t hurt that it looks like a pink dress.
Boys:
This Creeper plush is a pretty great gift for any Minecraft fans in your home. It even makes the hiss… BOOM! sound.
Bugs + Robots = boy heaven. The Hexbug Scarab beetle is very reasonably priced and would make a great stocking stuffer.
I really think that the whole family would enjoy the Disney Infinity Starter Pack, but the boys in my house seems to enjoy video games the most.
Both:
I assume that my kids would like this Crayola Digital Light Designer, but all I know is that I really want one. It looks like it would be so much fun to play with and create awesome pictures.
Headphones are a great gift especially for slightly older kids. We just bought our kids their first pair for a road trip. It was a total sanity saver for us parents. The kids loved wearing them too!
Razor Scooters are a lot of fun too. Added bonus, the kids actually get outside and get moving!
What gifts are on your kids’ wish list this year? I could use a few more ideas.
