Today I’m sharing one of my very favorite party foods. It’s a 3 ingredient Apple dip. Well, actually it would be great with any kind of fruit, but my favorite is to eat it with Apples. It is a huge crowd pleaser and everytime, I serve it, I get lots of compliments.
3 Ingredient Fruit Dip
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
- 1 jar marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
Directions:
- Set the cream cheese out for 15-20 minutes to get it soft.
- With a hand mixer, beat together the marshmallow creme, cream cheese, and orange zest.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
So easy right? Here are a tips and substitutions for you.
- For a slightly lighter version, use low fat cream cheese. You won’t even be able to taste the difference.
- If you have a hard time removing the marshmallow creme from the jar, dip the jar in hot water for a few seconds. The marshmallow creme will get soft and come right out of the jar.
- If you love citrus like I do, squeeze 1-2 Tbsp of orange juice in with the dip. The extra liquid makes the dip a little less sticky to mix, plus I love the flavor!
The dip will taste great with pretty much any fruit. I like it with strawberries, grapes, bananas, and of course apples. Since the dip is versatile, it’s a great opportunity to buy whatever fruits are in season. They taste the best then, plus they are usually on sale!
Are you a fruit dipper? What’s your favorite fruit/dip combination? Leave a comment and let me know!

I’ve tried this without the orange zest, but that seems like it would make it delicious. Thanks for sharing!
