I have had way too much fun designing this Valentine’s Day. I had the Minecraft printable valentines, the Teaching is a work of Heart Valentines, the Lovebirds Cards, and the Love Notes Mailbox. I got the idea to make an owl that incorporated hearts for a teacher that loves owls. I couldn’t really find exactly what I wanted online, so I decided to design my own. This owl is cute for Valentine’s Day, but really it’s a great design for anyone that loves cutesy little owls.
My original purpose for making the owl was to put it on a mini mailbox with the cute saying, “Owl you need is love.” My son’s teacher loves green and has lots of owls around her room.
I used some pink sparkly vinyl for the owl and I love how it turned out. It’s really difficult to photograph well but it’s so pretty! You may notice that I used the hearts from the front of the owl to decorate the side and front of the mailbox. I love when you can make use of the extra vinyl pieces.
When I take the time to design a file, it seems like a waste to keep it to myself. I’ve decided to share the owl design with you in two different formats, .STUDIO and .SVG. Here’s a preview of the file.
The real file will not have the watermarks across the image. Files are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Do not redistribute the to anyone else, but feel free to direct them here so they can download it for themselves.

Thanks for the owl! It’s adorable, and matches my preschooler’s backpack! I used chalkboard vinyl and cut the design as is for one side of her water bottle. Then, I removed the hearts, and cut another decal so that I could write her name on the other side of the bottle. It’s perfect! 🙂
I’m in the process to finished my baby girl nursery ( she is 6 months now, its taking longer that I image hehehe). And now I’m in love with everything Animal forest/ forest friends.
