Ingredients
- 3 cups Crisp Rice Cereal
- 5 oz mini marshmallows (About 2 cups)
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- White frosting(store bought is fine)
- Coconut Flakes
- 36 Chocolate Chips
- 9 Chocolate Candy Melts/ Candy Wafers
Instructions
- Heat margarine over low heat in a saucepan. When the margarine has completely melted, add the marshmallows. Heat the marshmallows until completely melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the Rice Crispy cereal until the cereal is completely covered in marshmallows. Pour the treats into a greased 9x9" pan. Press the treats down into an even layer with greased hands or spatula. Allow to cool.
- Cut the treats with a 2.25" paw cookie cutter. Frost the treats with white icing.
- Press coconut flakes into the icing. Add a candy wafer/ candy melt to the center of the paw. To finish, add 4 chocolate chips to each paw for the toes.
The coconut is a little hard to see in the photos, but it makes such great polar bear fur. Not to mention it’s tasty! Here’s a fun tip, substitute the margarine for coconut oil and get some extra coconut flavor packed in your treats!
In 2016 I am giving a try at making short videos. You know, the ones you see all over Facebook. I was pretty intimidated to give it at try, but now that I’ve got one under my belt I can’t wait to make more!
