I don’t really enjoy being “busy.” I find it stressful and I hate rushing around from one activity to the next, well at least I used to. Now that my kids are getting older we are involved in a lot of extracurricular activities. Soccer, children’s choir, boy scouts, and girls activity days are the group activities we’ve been involved in that I can think of right off the top of my head. I love what these group activities are doing for my kids, so for now I’m okay with the busyness that comes with it. However, each activity requires a lot of coordinating between different groups of people. My email, texts, and messages can get out of control sometimes.
In case you need proof, I have Exhibit A.
Exhibit B.
and Exhibit C.
Enter the TeamSnap app.
TeamSnap is a team activity and management app. The idea is to put everything in once place so you can save time and effort. TeamSnap asked me to review their app and let you know what I thought of it. My first thoughts are that the app includes all the features I could want plus a few I didn’t know I needed. Here’s a screenshot.
TeamSnap has:
- Roster/ Contact information
- Schedule and Availability
- Messages
- TeamSnap Live! which is an instant messaging component.
- Upload photos
- Files like game schedules, release forms, etc.
- Track Fees
- Track tasks and required forms
- You can even create a sign-up for refreshments!
I think my favorite thing is that everything team or group related is in one place. I also really like the ability to upload photos. With group events, you never know when Tommy’s mom is going to get a perfect shot of your child too. It’s awesome to be able to share.
The TeamSnap app is available on Android and iOS. If you’re interested in the TeamSnap Live! make sure download the latest version of the app.
Right now, TeamSnap has a 4 month free trial, a $72 value! No need to enter your credit information either, no accidental charges with TeamSnap! Just head on over to the TeamSnap site and get started organizing your team or group. It’s really easy and intuitive to get started.
Oh and here’s one more cool fact about TeamSnap, if you want to upgrade from a free account you can do that during the season. Then, in the off season transition back to a free account. That way you are only paying the monthly rate when you are using the app. Everything will be still be there for you come next season.
What are you waiting for? Go start your free trial of TeamSnap now!
