I must be reliving my childhood again because I just can’t get enough of my daughter’s spin art machine. We have so much playing with it together. At Christmas time, I made a fun spin art wreath gift tag. For Easter, I wanted to come up with some easter eggs decorating ideas using the spin art machine. After a lot of thought, I wondered what would happen if we put the Easter eggs inside the art spinner? An Easter eggs crafts experiment was immediately necessary! *This post contains affiliate links to products I use and recommend.
Pretty awesome right? I am so pleased that Spin Art Easter eggs are a total win! It only required a few modifications from the typical spin art project to work too. We tried our spin art technique on white eggs and black chalkboard eggs. I just can’t choose a favorite!
I love the neon paint with the black eggs. It just makes me feel like I’m at a party. Would you believe that we used the same three colors of paint on both types of eggs? They look so totally different! The art spinner makes the eggs look like they were splatter painted.
Take a look at this video and see how much fun it is! This was my daughter’s first video with me. It was so much fun to make. I’m hoping to have a lot more videos of kids making crafts.
I bet you have all kinds of questions, like what eggs did I use? What kind of paint is that? Did paint splatter all over the place? I’ve got all your answers and a few more over on page 2.
