Let’s make a Cuddle Party shirt from Finding Dory! If you weren’t sure, the otters actually have a cuddle party in the movie, so it totally fits. I found a coloring page of the otters and I traced them with my Silhouette Cameo software. The lines are very small as you can see so I had to do some redesigning for the mouth and whiskers. In the original coloring sheet, the whiskers overlapped the mouth and it came out a big mess when I cut it.

Here’s a close-up of the design. I used aqua and copper glitter flake heat transfer vinyl(HTV). I really love the glitter effect it gives.

I’m sharing the .STUDIO file I used to cut my design. If there is interest, I’ll work on getting the SVG version too. Don’t forget that when you cut HTV, you need to mirror the design. The file I shared is already mirrored.

Now, what if you don’t have a Silhouette? First of all, I can’t recommend them enough. I love my Silhouette Cameo and it’s definitely on my must-have list of crafter supplies.

However, when I was designing this shirt I was really worried that the lines would be just too thin. My backup plan was to use printable transfer paper and use a full-color image of the otters. I think it would still work really great.  Thankfully my Cameo rocked at cutting those thin lines. The links above are amazon affiliate links.
